Precision Machine Operator -Bead Blast
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-focused individual to join our client, a leader in supplying the semiconductor industry. In this role, you'll be responsible for restoring and preparing shield components used in high-tech manufacturing. From operating specialized equipment to ensuring parts are cleaned, inspected, and packaged to exact specifications, your work will help keep production running smoothly and safely.
1st Shift: 6am - 230 Mon- Fri
What You'll Do
- Operate and monitor equipment used in cleaning and restoring shield components.
- Prepare parts for various treatments, including chemical processing, flame spraying, bead blasting, and etching.
- Conduct visual inspections and use basic tools to verify product quality.
- Package and label components for shipment according to customer and internal standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed using logs or ERP systems.
- Perform light preventive maintenance to keep equipment in good working order.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Keep your workspace clean, organized, and compliant with audit standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Support compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) and quality management system (QMS) protocols.
What You Bring
- Prior experience in a precision manufacturing or production setting (preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working around chemicals and wearing PPE (gloves, goggles, masks, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
